Nubea places a calm field of pale blue at the centre of the room. The surface has a slightly heathered look, almost like chalk worked into paper. Across this soft base runs a fine network of off white lines forming elongated diamonds and oval like panels. The geometric pattern is deliberately understated, adding structure without dominating the space, so the rug frames contemporary interiors with a quiet, refined presence. Handmade in India from wool on a cotton foundation, Nubea measures 200 by 140 centimetres. The dense, flat construction makes it a practical living room rug that also works well in bedrooms or home offices.
