Mayoba
Mayoba feels like a patchwork of fields seen from above. Wide horizontal bands of fresh apple green, soft sage and warm sand are interspersed with short strokes of orange, coral, yellow and deep midnight blue. These lines read as traces of light and movement, giving the rug an energetic yet controlled character that opens up the room and subtly recalls a summer landscape. Handwoven in India from wool on a cotton foundation, Mayoba features a flat kilim-style construction and measures 200 by 140 centimetres. The durable surface makes it well suited as a living room rug, in a dining zone or beneath a desk. Its mix of greens, natural shades and clear colour accents pairs easily with timber, white walls, concrete and black details, working in both Scandinavian-inspired and more colourful interiors.
