2) Scope This returns and cancellation policy applies to orders placed on Ethos24.com by consumers within Europe.
3) Statutory Right of Withdrawal You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period is 14 days from the day on which you or a third party designated by you takes possession of the goods.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you can initiate the process via your customer profile under "Orders", or send a clear written statement to info@ethos24.com. Submitting your withdrawal before the 14-day period expires is sufficient to meet the deadline.
4) Voluntary 30-Day Return Guarantee In addition to your statutory right of withdrawal, Ethos24 offers a voluntary 30-day return guarantee from the date of delivery, provided that:
- the rug has been handled with care,
- it shows no damage, stains, odours (e.g. smoke), pet hair, or signs of use,
- the item is complete.
Inspection is permitted: unrolling and examining the rug indoors is allowed, as it would be in a physical store. Use beyond inspection — including walking on it with shoes, extended placement, soiling, or any damage — is not covered.
5) Return Shipping Costs & Method Ethos24 covers return shipping costs within Europe.
Returns are handled via FedEx or GLS. After initiating a return via your customer profile under "Orders", you will receive return instructions and a prepaid shipping label. Unannounced returns without prior registration may delay processing.
6) Return Process
- Initiate the return or withdrawal via your customer profile under "Orders" (select your order number).
- Receive return instructions and shipping label (FedEx/GLS).
- Pack the item securely and ship it.
- Item is inspected upon arrival at Ethos24.
- Refund is issued as per Section 7.
7) Refunds Refunds are processed after receipt and inspection of the returned item. For statutory withdrawal (14 days): We refund the purchase price plus standard shipping costs (if charged). Additional costs for premium shipping options are not refunded.
For voluntary return guarantee (30 days): We refund the purchase price upon successful inspection. Refunds are issued via the same payment method used at checkout, unless explicitly agreed otherwise.
8) Liability for Diminished Value You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods if that diminished value results from handling beyond what is necessary to assess the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the item.
Compensation claims or refusal of return may apply in cases of: stains, pulled fibres, edge or fringe damage, odour, pet hair, moisture, improper packaging, or transport damage caused by inadequate packing.
9) Transport Damage & Complaints Any transport damage or defects must be reported within 30 days of delivery via your customer profile under "Orders" or by email to info@ethos24.com — ideally with photos of the outer packaging, inner packaging, damage, and shipping label. We will then arrange next steps.
10) Model Withdrawal Form (Complete and return this form only if you wish to withdraw from the contract.)
