Elvan
Elvan unfolds as a play of light and colour. Diagonal arrow shapes line up in vertical rows, shifting between cool sky blue, warm mustard, soft greige and mottled greys, punctuated by speckled segments in rust, blue and ochre. The repeating chevron pattern gives the rug a clear sense of direction while the overall surface remains airy and calm, almost as if it were subtly lifting the room. Handmade in India from wool on a cotton foundation, the Elvan rug measures 200 by 140 centimetres. Its flat, kilim like construction is durable and practical, making it suitable for living rooms, dining areas or home offices. The combination of neutrals with blue and golden yellow pairs well with pale timber, concrete, white walls and bolder accent colours, adding a modern geometric character to Scandinavian inspired as well as urban interiors.
