Nores is a handmade rug from India, woven from a blend of wool, silk, viscose and linen. This mix creates a subtly irregular texture with a dry, tactile feel and a gentle sheen beneath the surface. Measuring 183 by 123 centimetres, Nores works well as a living room rug but also in workspaces or bedrooms, where it acts as a calm grey base that pulls furniture and textiles together. The design relies on a clear geometric repeat. Against a light grey ground, a slightly darker pattern of linked ovals and angular lines forms a soft grid, like a shadow laid across the surface. Fringes at the short ends soften the strict geometry and underline the handmade character while keeping the overall look contemporary.
