Caleya reads like a woven mosaic of light and colour. Clear, almost white squares alternate with blocks of stripes in red, orange, blue and warm brown, punctuated by small woven symbols that echo folk art and embroidery. The strict patchwork grid keeps the composition ordered, so the rug feels lively yet airy and sits beautifully in bright spaces or next to simple sofas and wooden furniture. Handmade in India from wool on a cotton foundation, Caleya measures 200 by 140 centimetres.
